Today, Port Moresby General Hospital (PMGH) held a divine service to honor and pay tribute to The Late and Great Sir Theophilus George Constantinou, CBE. Since 2013, Sir Theo served as the PMGH Board Chairman until his untimely passing last year. Described by Peter Graham as “a man of the people” Sir Theo was passionate in his drive to upgrade the hospital’s old infrastructure and improving the standard of healthcare. Sir Theo generously gave his private time and resources with a vision to elevate PMGH to a Level 7 hospital, a standard that would be equal to any modern health facility in the world. Today marks the first anniversary of his passing. Sir Theo is sadly missed by all who knew and worked with him. May he Rest In Peace.
